Welcome! At Dhanwantari, we truly believe that anyone can practice yoga. Beginners are welcome to attend any of our scheduled drop in classes.  Our studio environment is very welcoming and each of our instructors is skilled at adjusting the practice to each student's individual needs and abilities. Meet with an Instructor for One-On-One Sessions

Many beginning students are intimated by joining a class.  Meeting with an instructor one-on-one provides a comfortable atmosphere and allows for individual attention for you to develop your unique practice. Founder & Director, Brooke Cannoot, is also an Occupational Therapist. She specializes in working individually to meet the needs of her students. Our DISCOVER YOGA, one-on-one private session package, is ideal for those who want to learn yoga in a more in-depth and individualized setting. The DISCOVER YOGA Package is 4, 60 minute sessions for just $180.  By the fourth session, you will understand the transformative power of yoga and feel confident in your practice to attend classes or begin a daily practice at home. Take a course designed just for the Beginner...

At Dhanwantari, we have a specialized class series to introduce you to the practice of yoga--the breath, the postures, meditation & philosophy. CLICK HERE for next session dates & to register.

Yoga 101: 4 Week Series

Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word that describes a dynamic, flowing form of hatha yoga. Each asana (pose) is linked together with the breath to form a continuous flow.

During the 4 weeks you will learn…

  • The Philosophy of Yoga
  • The 14 key points to a complete, balanced vinyasa practice
  • The breath and how it relates to well-being.
  • Yoga asanas (postures) with regards to positioning, alignment and safety.
  • How yoga relates to health and well-being of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.

Vinyasa 101 meets on Thursdays at 5:45PM  4 Week Session is $54.   Next Session begins: Feb 23. This requires pre registration and is closed to drop ins.

Class series may be cancelled if pre-registration requirements are not met one week prior to session start date. Registration is closed on the first date of the class session. If Dhanwantari chooses to cancel this class due to low interest, your registration will be refunded. Your registration fee is non-refundable after the 1st class of the session. Please note that Dhanwantari generally does not allow make up classes if you miss a class during the series. Make up classes are at the discretion of the instructor.

The Foundational Package

A perfect way to GET STARTED! This is designed for the beginner or for those hoping to reconnect to their yoga practice. Get back to the basics with 3 one-on-one, private yoga sessions and registration in our 4 week course, Vinyasa 101. Learn the fundamentals of yoga—the breath, the postures, and the philosophy. Yoga is a very individualistic practice, one-on-one sessions allow you to explore the postures in a way that works for you and your body to unlock your own potential. Foundational Package is $175.
